Plant Based in Miami - LOVE!
Wow, wow, wow! I am beyond impressed by what the food scene is here in Miami. To be completely honest, I came in having little to zero expectations of being able to find any great plant based options... and I was 1000% wrong. What comes to mind when I hear of Miami culture are Cuban sandwiches, yacht parties, beautiful beaches, seafood, and Latin/Caribbean food. My short trip here has made me realize Miami is way ahead in their plant based game and growing exponentially according to new friends my fiancé and I made.
Dining in Miami is for sure one of the top things to do. It is vibrant, youthful, energetic, and full of surprises, whether you are looking for a quick low-budget bite to a high price celebrity chef experience. Below are some of my favorite plant based friendly spots and what to order. One thing I really appreciated about all of these restaurants we tried was that THEY ARE ALL SO SIMPLE (meaning, not overly sauced or overly sweeten/salted) but STILL SO WELL DONE.
